I'm still torn on the Steel Phantom decision. Don't get me wrong, I love Phantom's Revenge, but the original was a heck of a ride too. (though I agree with the decision from a business standpoint)

And don't forget that the Thunderbolt had a similar tranformation as well from the old Pippin. Though I'm sad to say I'm a little too young to be around for that. But I suspect that was a good decision as well, as the T-Bolt has built quite a reputation for itself.

One ride swap I definately don't like was Valleyfair's decision to replace The Rails with Mad Mouse. I'm not a huge mouse fan in general, but I'll take a Schwarzkopf Wildcat over an arrow mouse anyday. Now if only they could make the cars spin...

And let's "knott" forget that other park....took out the first modern inverting steel coaster (a real piece of *our* history), and replaced it with....well, a Boomerang.

rollergator.....i fell out of my chair man!! lol:) id have to say getting rid of Galaxi for Shockwave at PKD was an awesome move!! forget what the rest of you think of TOGO standups, i love Shockwave, my first loop coaster....now as much as i love Anaconda, the thought that it replaced the FIRST Scwartzkopf shuttle loop, i dont know, the jury is out on that one, any other PKD homers feel free to comment on that one....and i am still quite put out that the the Apple Turnover (Enterprise) was taken out for that piece of crap SKy Pilot thats not even there anymore.....ahh, at least North America's tallest Gyro Drop is going in its place:)

Tim...who misses his beloved Apple Turnover, but sure doesnt mind dropping 30 stories in its place, hehe:)
