Activities comparable to the thrill of coasters

I was wondering what hobbies or activities give you the same adrenalin rush as coasters? Last summer I flew in a stunt plane with a professional pilot and let my tell you it is an amazing experience. We performed all sorts of rolls, loops and i was even inverted for about 10 seconds while flying past the Hoover Dam. There were an incredible amount of G's, I believed we pulled 5 g's but it was sutained for a few second unlike most coasters. It was a truely amazing experience that surpasses any coaster I have ever ridden. My brother even compared the experience to sky diving and said that it was probably more intemse. Sky-diving is one hobby that i am definitely going to pick up as soon as I become 18. I want to hear about what other crazy buzzers do to get adrenalin rushes.
do any  coasterbuzzers do extreme sports that provide some incredible thrills?
The bungy jumps at theme parks are really cool but since its at a theme park I don't know if it counts. It must though because its not a coaster.

What theme parks have bungy jumps?  I've never seen a bungy jump at any amusement park, except for little mini golf, go kart places.  Are you talking about the sky coasters?  There is a HUGE difference and I've done both.  IMO the skycoasters don't even come close to bungy jumping.

To answer the original thread I have skydived, bungy jumped and ridden most upcharge attractions that provide high thrills.  Coasters don't come anywhere close to skydiving IMO, nothing does.

True, once you've jumped out of a plane it's pretty hard to ever be scared of a little rollercoaster.  Even Millennium Force doesn't look all that tall to me anymore.
Geauga Lake had a bungee jump one summer back around 1992.  It was free with admission to the park but the line filled in the first hour after opening.
It was quite a rush!

I think skiing comes pretty close to the thrills of a rollercoaster.
Especially when you go off jumps and fly ten feet into the air (Doesn't seem like much compared to a 300 ft rollercoaster, but the fact that you aren't strapped into anything makes it exillerating).
I also like the fact that you have control of where to go on skis, you don't just follow a set track.
Powered parachute!  Basically, flying with a go-kart and a parachute...that was INCREDIBLE fun, hope to fly over the Po!nt next time I'm in Ohio.  Sky-Coasters aren't coasters but do provide that certain something.  Also, not that I've done these, but skydiving, parasailing, bungy-jumping, and those oh-so-cool-looking Alpine Slides.

Alpine slides are a blast and downhill snow skiing can put you right on the edge.  Imagine skiing at 40 to 60 mph and at any moment you can hit a bump or catch an edge that will send you sailing through the air and then crashing wherever you land.  I have also gone sky-diving.  That was a blast.  Imagine standing in the doorway of an airplane at 12,500 agl (above ground level) with only a parachute strapped to your back!  Then jumping out and free-falling for almost a minute!  I went bungee jumping after I went sky-diving and I thought bungee jumping was pretty tame.

I enjoy skiing, I always said as long as I was going down a hill I was happy!
Im a pro wrestler and I wrestle for many indy wrestling federations in IL,  That gives me a big thrill, performing in front of crowds that sometimes reach 300.

snowboarding/skiing (downhill) are pretty cool.  especially when you know what you're doing.  I know how to ski and I can go really fast and get an increadible adrenaline rush, but snowboarding I'm just getting used to so my focus resides more on not falling and less on having fun.  still, very fun.  I espically love the tree trails on skis.  whipping past trees on a trail that's just as wide as you are, over small hills, around turns.  half the time I don't know where I am until I get back to the main run.

yeah i was going to say sex but you know i knind of figuared CB to be a family site...:) someone mentioned alpine slides as being really thrilling and i definitely have to agree, I have even flipped on one of them but I only suffered some bruises.
Quoted by Anton Schwarzkopf- "The release and calm experienced at the end of the ride is close to the sensation of an orgasm".

I know sex could be an innapropriate answer but it is scientificly correct-sort of.  If you have the big roller coaster book by David Bennet, you can pull it out and look up the quote.  It is on page 66.

Skiing/snowboarding are defenitely up there. And then there is parasailing, jet skiing, and being at a concert where everyone around loves the music as much as you do.
