I request WDW pick 50 names out of a barrel from families that visit the park on vacation that fill out a entry. And each family shall get one week fully paid stay with park passes, hotel, food and airfare fully paid.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Disney gives a truckload of money and rooms/tickets/food/etc. to causes and people far more deserving than a butt hurt vacationer that thinks it is a crime to have to pay market value for his large family to visit.

If only WDW could be involved, with the other Orlando parks, in some type of thing where terminally ill children and their families enjoyed a week long vacation in Orlando, with room and board, park admissions and travel costs fully paid.

Maybe some type of village where they could give kids the world.

Seconding what bigboy said.

Life is something that happens when you can't get to sleep.

^ And if that village had fundraisers at other parks throughout the country, I bet that would be a big hit too...

But then again, what do I know?

I've said this elsewhere today but I think some younger Americans (and maybe older ones too) think that "Freedom" equals "equality". That isn't true at all. Our freedoms mean we have a chance to go get the American Dream...but those same freedoms mean we may fall far short of that dream.

The American Dream was always about success, not excess. It morphed in to gluttony at some point, disguised as equality.

Wouldn't it make more sense to pick 50 names out of a barrel of families who HAVEN'T visited the park? You know, people who couldn't afford to visit the park in the first place?

Honestly, that depends. If the intent is total charity, then yeah, maybe. If it's to retain customer loyalty (or even bring in new customers), then no. Because if we look at this logically, the former won't happen because Disney isn't a charity, and the latter won't happen because an all-expense paid trip wouldn't bring in any money nor guarantee repeat business. Discounted offers, sure, but not fully paid admission, lodging, food and airfare. That's just ludicrous (and further evidence we're either being trolled or someone has lost their grip on reality).

Man, I just love this.
