Legendary, when a "prototype" is 200' tall and 3610' long, that would qualify as both long and tall in my book. Especially compared to ALL other fairly recent prototypes: Stealth, Hypersonic, The first standup (Shockwave?), Batman:TR & Oblivion. X blows away all those in both height and length. I was expecting under 150' and less than 2500' long, so when the announcement was made, I was X-tatic! (misspelled for dramatic purpose ;)) See you in line!

Ah, see, that's where the discrepancy comes in. You're looking at it from a prototype perspective, while I'm looking at it from merely a coaster perspective. Yes, prototype wise, that thing is completely monstrous. But from a regular coaster, the length is quite short compared to the height.

I actually hoped for a B&M dive coaster at SFMM at some point, I got that and more. So I have to agree with Soggy, this thing is much longer than I expected. However, with a speed of 75-plus mph, you better believe it's going to be over quick. But that drop already seems primed to scare the bejesus out of just about everyone. And the thing is, you aren't eased into it, you are thrown into it Raging Bull style! Awesome!

The Name X is so 1990s.
Like gag me with a spoon and stuff. Like totally. Are you like a valley girl or like something?
Oh brother!

Simcoaster, The drop does look awesome I like drops that you are thrown into(Raging Bull) more then eased into(Millennium Force).
------------- #1: Millennium Force #2: Raging Bull #3: Tie B:TR/Raptor #4: Viper (SFGAm) #5: Goliath/Magnum
I agree, although I love Goliath's first drop, being eased into a steep drop doesn't do much for me. Now release me into it from the top, and you get that pit in your stomach feeling, and the total intensity of the drop.

Ok, we all know that Six Flags parks, especially Magic Mountain have a trouble with theming their rides. They probably guessed they wooldn't have to theme it if they named it something like that.
Oh ya, Batman is my second favorite ride in the park, and that thing is really short. I don't really care if it's that short, I'll just keep riding it.
Maybe thats why I didnt feel the stomach drop on MF..I thought I was the only person who missed it..:) And I thought at one time GASM at SFGAD was a big drop..:)
Just when you thought you've seen it all. That computer enhanced layout was very interesting. The design of X looks so modern and fresh. So many never before innovations. Can't wait to ride one.
