Wait a minute.......do you mean "everyone is already there" as in Solace or my motel room? Yikes!

Sorry, C:TR is closed to the public (except MAYBE for Danny.....if he behaves..lol) , but if anyone wants to buy me a beer (or 12) during Solace they are more than welcome!

I thought I was *promised* a credit lap on either C:TR or Flashback, whichever opened first....;)

Shoot, it's Solace, and I'll be happy to catch up with ALL of my old friends....but I would really like to catch Scandia, Legoland, and whatever else might be handy...Castle Park, etc...what happened to rcdb's "parks nearby" feature, I loved that!

I said C:TR was closed to the public, Bill, not completely shut down. ;-)

I can't help ya with Flashback. lol.

I am all for visiting the small parks! As much as I hate to admit it, Legoland looks too fun to pass up!

I am hoping that we can make this work. My family has been wanting to make a west coast trip for a long time, and some ERT wouldn't hurt. Sounds like a good time.

Maybe I could actually get a ride on X while I am out there!?!?

Coasterfantom2 - this year there was an event w/ERT at SFMM the day after Solace. I suspect the same will happen next year, so getting some rides on X should be easy to do ;)

Yeah, I'll swipe it. I could use a couple extra Christmas gifts ;)

Is that the credit card with the Chippendales Dancers on it? ;)

They don't call you a credit whore for nothing, Bill. ;)
Well, actually, "credit" isn't usually mentioned, but whatever...

They Live. We Sleep.

Isn't it great that Solace is almost here? This weekend.. :):):):)

Yeah, but you know what really suXors? That in just one week, it'll be over...

(I have really got to stop this over-analyzing BS);)

They Live. We Sleep.

Does anyone know is Xcelerator will be open by then, I've heard it's been down for a couple of weeks. The WCS just won't be the same without it.
Really? The only ride I had heard that was down was Ghostrider, but I think it's been said that it's reopened. It'd be a real shame if XCelerator isn't open.

Yes, Xcelerator will be open. It is currently closed for bi-annual maintenance and will have reopened for the special ERT on Friday night. It goes down at this time every year...and every year some people worry it won't be open for Solace ;)
Thanks moosh, I figured it would but I was preparing for the worst :)
Dang, I hate missing Solace, but due to circumstances beyond our control, Belmont Babe and myself will be unable to attend this year. Guess we'll just have to plan for next year. Hopefully they will continue having them after Jack goes back to Sandusky.
Any suggestions for Friday morning activities in the LA area? We've already done all the Disney parks time and time again (Universal too), plus I'm heading to WDW (Orlando) next Thursday.

My buddy and I are taking off from Vegas tonight. We need some time killer for Friday morning/afternoon until the events start happening at Knotts.

Is it too cold to body surf? Any good shore scuba dive sites I don't know about? Other fun activities? All suggestions welcomed. There are no indoor waterparks are there?

Jeffrey - Friday afternoon traffic can be a real ***** and if you're staying at the Radisson you'll want to get there no later than 5pm as the line for check-in gets VERY long. I suggest something in that area...perhaps some of the smaller parks like Castle Park, Scandia, or Adventure City?
