Well, I couldn't make the last Solace, but I'll definately be there for this one since SB is there. Should be a lot of fun. Thanks for posting the information Moosh.

Hmmmmm tasty! :)

I MUST go this year. Never been even though Knott's is pretty much my home park.

FYI, to clarify: in order to attend you MUST be a member of a coaster club. Club members who also have a Cedar Fair annual pass can get a discount.
See everyone there, the WCS are all awesome this will be my third in a row, I love them so much, you just can't get better than night ERT on Ghostrider, I just hope the weather is as good as it was last year.
Hmmm. Doesn't overlap with the family trip to the Florida Mouse House. Hmmmmmmm. With my current work travel schedule, going on "extra" trips is a bit of a hardship around the house.

I wish I could switch my airline tix for this weekend out to L.A. for March! Oh well, still gonna enjoy the heck out of Knott's this weekend anyways.

Certain victory.

Ride Xcelorator for me, Bob, and I'll do the same for you @ Solace, with a side of Ghostrider.:)
a couple questions..

1. Does Coasterbuzz qualify as a club to be a member of in order to attend

2. For the enthusiasts package at the radison, is it $199 per person based on double occupancy, or is it $199 assuming there will be 2 people? Further, is it possible to go alone? (it's looking like it'll be just me, but I would like to take advantage of that package if I can)

I emailed Knotts about it, and the response that I got back was that they don't know anything more than what's in the flyer. Since I'm fairly new to the enthusiast community, I thought maybe some of you more experienced people would know.

1. Club Coasterbuzz membership should qualify, however if it does not Screamscape usually posts a "membership certificate" you can print that will get you in. I'd suggest emailing Jeff Putz about Club Coasterbuzz.

2. The Radisson package is $199 plus tax, good for up to two people per room. So if its just you in the room you're footing the entire bill. In previous years additional people in a room could purchase tickets to the Friday night portion of the event. If you were not staying at the Radisson but who knew people who are I suppose you could get a ticket thru them.

NOTE: Solace tickets are NOT included in the Radisson package. You have to purchase them separately.

Hope that helps!

Matthew

Thank you very much. I gathered that event tickets were separate, but it's good to know for sure.

How would I go about purchasing Solace tickets? (or, more accurately, ticket :) ) I've never actually been to an enthusiast event, so not sure how these things go.

The flier on Knott's website says tickets can be purchased via the website. I didn't look around the site to see if that's possible yet. In previous years you could buy tickets during the Friday night event or Saturday morning at the gate.

Its a bit early still...its possible the park has not finalized those details yet.

Knott's has always accepted CoasterBuzz Club members. Just don't order the day before and expect to get your membership card in time. People do that every year.

Shouldn't you be in Bed Tina?

I hope to see you all there, if I have the ca$h:).

Woah.... 'bed'; 'seeing you all there', and 'cash' should NOT have been in the same post this late at night....

Woke up too early, Clint. lol.

Solace or BUST! :-D

Wow, Udo.

Maybe I'm just an innocent angel (heh.. courtesy laugh) but I didn't even put the 2 lines together until you mentioned it..

So, am I misreading it, or is Tekno paying for a trip for everyone to Tina's bed if he has the cash? Or was it just a trip for him and hoping everyone is already there?

(looks at the clock and sees it's almost 2:15am.. yep, late night posts can be the most fun sometimes)

LOL!

I think the second option is more appropriate, and more accurate. :-)
