I'm gonna fetch the game today and do some testing. Please stand by.

Based on my limited play of the full version demo it looks like we can not only save rides, but we can save structures, as well as the fireworks shows. It doesn't look like we can save a ride with scenery, however, like we could in RCT2.

Certain victory.

I'll run out to Best Buy to see tonight to pick up a final copy, hopefully they'll have it.
Sounds like some of my biggest fears all came true unfortunately. Inaccurate sounds. Even worse, no sounds at all on some rides. And the block brakes work like the demo, grabbing on to the trains abrubtly.

I really have to wonder how a game can be so detailed in some ways and so wrong in others. They already had the correct sound files in RCT2, why not use them?

Disappointing to say the least.

Sounds like PR to me.

I wonder why though?

Well, despite the fact they say it's not a complete version from Frontier...

...I'm not going to hold my breath on the boxed version to be much different. I'm still predicting a lot of sounds either missing, or just plain lame. I'm also going to bet that none of the littl inaccuracies from the downloaded version will be fixed...

...I'm assuming really the only difference between the download version & the retail boxed version are maybe a few glitches & tweeks, but no actual improvements w/ the rides, sounds, interface, & gameplay.
