404 issue

This just started in the last week and a 1/2 to two weeks or so. When I click the Forum link, it gives me a 404 and page can not be found in Safari. So I hit the back button, click Forum again, and everything works. This is happening to me everytime I check out Coasterbuzz.

I'm running OSX 10.4.6, and my version of Safari is 2.0.3. Thanks for your help.

Not 100% sure about Safari but clean out your temp internet files and make sure Safari is set to look for new pages for every visit to a page.

Thanks,
DMC

Doubt this is the problem, but you're running old versions of Safari and OS X Tiger.

Safari is at v3.0.4
OS X Tiger is at v10.4.11

Yeah 10.4.6 is a little old. You might want to run Software Update.

The forum hasn't moved in four years, so I think you've got something else not right.

Today the Forum link loaded fine. I haven't updated to 10.4.10 yet because it's such a bloated update at 170MB. I might get around to it though one of these days.

gomez, you said that Safari is up to 3.0.4., but isn't that only under Leopard? I have no plans to be an early adopter at this point.

10.4.11 came out yesterday. It includes Safari 3.0.4 for Tiger.
I've been getting "page not found" messages as well, both on the computer at work and at home. It happens for both the forum and news tabs. Like IF said, if you back out and click the tab again, you get in with no further problems.

Oh... you know what, that could be ValueClick screwing with me. I'll have to check that when I can bust out my comprooder here.

I don't know if this helps or not, but it happened again and I copied down some information. When I clicked on the forum link, this is what came up in the address bar

It's also telling me to contact Microsoft Product Support Services.

Thanks pkidelirium for letting me know about the the OS update. I'll have to check into that. That's strange that they're releasing another update to Tiger, but I have read some complaints about 10.4.10. I'm glad the new update is only 186MB:) *** Edited 11/16/2007 4:35:30 AM UTC by Intamin Fan***

I'm having the same problem, on both my home computer and the one at work.
