If a 100 ft. is a mega coaster, 200 ft. coaster is a hyper, and 300 ft. is a giga, what's a 400 ft. coaster?

I would have to say that it should be called a super-coaster.

I would say that a 400ft coaster would have to be called "The face lift coaster".

No one has come up with it yet. But I would say an ultra-coaster.

How about "400 ft. coaster?"

Craig the coaster freak, there actually is a 400 ft. coaster - Superman: The Escape. Although it's not a continuous circuit, it goes up a 415 ft, tower.

It's a "tera-coaster", just like a "tera-byte".

It's whatever the first company that builds the first 400 foot full circuit coaster wants to name it, just as Arrow named the Magnum a Hyper and Intamin named MF a giga.

Perhaps the "Forgive me Father, I have sinned" coaster....cuz at that height, I'd definitely be repenting my sins and preparing to come face to face with God LMAO
Pardon the sarcasm, I would ride it with a big ole smile no matter what it was called

STE May be 400 foot tall but it does not go that high. From what I have seen on film it always has at least 50-75 ft left when it begins to fall back down.

And how high is the station level compared to the tower? From videos I've seen it looks very high off the ground.

Simcoaster and I share views on S:TE. Get on it and judge for yourself. As for having extra room on the tower before plummetting back to earth, there may be 40+ feet left, but when you are on the ride, it looks like there is less than 10 feet to go until you and the car fly away for good!

Gotta ride 'em all!

To me it seems like the car gos just past halfway. Did they cheap out on S:TE since it opened? Also, parks with closed circuit LIM coasters can't cheap out. I love that.

I don't think there should be a new "classification" until 500 feet. Stratocoaster is a cool name IMO.
