2005 Is Gonna Rock!

Moosh: I agree 100%.

TTD420: Yes, still thrilling. They could put one of these in every park and I'd ride it every time (and I'm not a flat ride fan...)

I'm actually anxious to see what PCar is doing, as well as PKD, the only 2 Paramount Parks left to announce.

Well we're gonna have to wait a little longer than expected for the PKD announcement.

From what I heard it seems like the announcement(originally scheduled for monday august 23rd) has been pushed back to some time after labor day.

Don't forget about PGA as well there Tekno,so far only PKI & PCW have announced their new offerings for the upcoming season.

PGA's waterpark will be expanded for 2005.

Yes, PGA is "doubling" their water park for next year, a good thing, I feel. I wonder if PKD or PCar are going to be doing the Boomerang Bay expansions next year as well.

Either way, I'm sure whatever the parks put in I'll be happy with.

Add Silver Bullet at Knott's to the list.

You also can't forget about Cedar Point...

I visited BGW August 15th-19th, and there was that sign for a new ride between the Festhaus and Alpengeist. Behind it was a building, and it obviously sparked my curiosity. I asked an employee about it at the Big Bad Wolf gift shop, who informed me that she didn't know anything about the ride. She asked a co-worker, and the co-worker said: "We can only tell you so much about the ride, but it will be half roller coaster, and half water ride." Sounds like an indoor water coaster to me, or maybe a new breed? All I know is Busch Gardens Williamsburg is all about class, and although this coaster may not be the biggest thing next year, I fully trust them to deliver a darn good ride. Just thought I'd share...

Feel the Strike in 2003!

I've heard that sfstl is very likely to be getting some kind of Intamin coaster which could very possibly be another half-pipe coaster or a hyper. If not a coaster, I think it will be a drop tower. Hopefully it is a coaster because i have been waiting for almost 5 frickin years (since i was 9 and now I'm 13!) for another one.

What about the GCI Woodie that's supposed to take place of Whirlwind at Knoebels?

Will 2005 be the year that our current, obsolete ice cream finally ceases to exist and Dip-n-dots will assume their birthright as "The Ice Cream of the Future?" The Dairy Industry holds its collective breath.
