2005 coaster announcements?

Theres lots of rumors going around that Cedar Point is either getting a B&M Flyer or a Frisbee, or a flat of some sort. I hope to see a flyer, but who knows, they like to delay their announcments.

If it was green and B&M, it's very likely Hydra track.
A quick thought on the Frequent Faller installation. The ad does say 'major' North American park. Don't know exactly what that means, but it's something.

But more importantly, does anybody think that the 3d rendering of the ride is any hint as to where it's going. There are two coasters in the background as well as some semi-arid mountains. One coaster is a double looper with blue track and yellow supports. The other appears to have red track and pink supports. Does this sound/look like Lagoon to anybody else? I may be reading too much into this but why do a rendering like this if it doesn't mean something.

And wrapping the two up, I would consider Lagoon to be a 'major' park in a sense. It is the only park in the high desert and they have 6 coasters. Hmmm

This was discussed when Interative posted that announcement, and most agreed that the Lagoon background was probably just for a backdrop, due to the fact that Interactive is only a few miles away from Lagoon. Kinda like a few years back when everyone was convinced SFMM was going to get Giovanola's version of a Dive Machine because their marketing pic showed Goliath in the background.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Well, right now the Tiques (antique cars) are gonna be removed soon, but they havent announced it yet

The Beast, my daily dose of coasters
Announcement for PKI will be August 12th, 10AM, at the park!!!
Where'd you hear that?
J Bird, I don't think it's some huge revelation that Kennywood is getting a new ride next year. Everybody knows that, but nobody knows what it will be for sure. All we know is it won't be a coaster.
I think Kennywood could get a coaster next year. Haven't you heard about the Frequent Faller coaster being sold to a North American park, it could very well be Kennywood. A coaster that is ideal for a park that is looking to save space.
