2005 coaster announcements?

I disagree Moosh, I really BELIEVE that the 4-D Beema *was* headed for "that park in Spain". If asked to take a GUESS as to why that seems to have fallen through, I'd probably say that B&M wasn't fully confident in their ability to have it up and FULLY functional in time. Their rep is based on RELIABILITY, remember...

LOL Jeff, there is NO such thing as a Beema hypa...B&M makes megacoasters, Intamins make ya *hyper*....:)

The "park in Spain" is Port Aventura, but with the Universal buyout, the project could have been delayed/cancelled. The paper the article was in said the ride would be around 260 feet tall...

after seeing the track on a picture on here i have decided that it was the same track i saw on I-71
Sorry. I was kind of excited about a Beemer 4D. I have no idea why I typed Mexico.
I'm sure we've all seen the fencing that's starting to go up in the overflow lot at SFA & we all know what that might very well mean now don't we?

It means its time for you to make your annual "SFA is getting a new coaster" prediction? ;)

Means it's one of those parks that still NEEDS a mine ride, mOOSH...;)

I am not sure Kings Island is getting a coaster, but who knows now days if they did they would tell us when its time.
Let's not forget all of the new coasters at SFWW (http://www.coasterbuzz.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=36887). Ha!
^ I'm really thinking that PKI is putting in a coaster. I still have images of this brown looping sitdown/floorless heavily themed B&M behind FoF/AE.

*crosses his fingers*

This time may be different than the past few seasons Moosh because there's a lot more evidence this time to support such a prediction.

Of course I could be proven wrong (yet again) with my 0 for 4 batting average thus far...however I'll be the one laughing all the way to SFA's main gate when my prediction turns out to be true this time around.

BatwingFan, for all you know that fence could be there because SFA is leasing the lot to a car dealership for storing cars, it could be left over from the fireworks show and you gotta admit your .250 batting average (and that's if SFA gets a coaster this season) isn't exactly stellar. I wouldn't exactly laugh all of the way to the gate considering how many people you have alientated to get to that gate.
Don't forget about the Frequent Faller coming to a N. American park in 2005:

^ Ha ha! Too funny. I tell you what, they'd better put some trims on that bad boy or the guests will be squished into oblivion on that last drop. ;)

It does have brakes on the flat parts. And did I mention really low capacity, too? ;)

960 ain't too bad...but I think that was exaggerated.

By the way, I think the concept would be better if they salvaged the pods from the old Sid and Marty Krofft pinball machine ride and turn this ride into a huge pachinco machine. ;)

It did say a major *North American* park, so lets not forget about PCW. They notoriously love the cheap, extremely low capacity coasters! ;)

960 theoretical translates into something like 300 real. I bet DV has around 900 theoretical.

Batwing Fan: Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Predicting the same thing every year until it's right doesn't make you right, and if you choose to laugh, you'll be laughed at even more.

Well, In light of that frequent faller thing...I was recently at Kennywood, for my yearly trip. I was waiting in line for Aero 360, and I was talking to a ride op about how Kennywood might be able to expand/land issues, things like that. Outta nowhere, she said, hey, I can tell you, Kennywood is getting a new ride next year, but she didn't know what it was, because they dont get that kind of explination. I dont want to start any rumors, and I cant officially say they will be getting a new ride, Im just telling you what the friendly little ride op told me. :-)

Maybe a frequent faller???
-Probably something else

Josh

It goes without saying the O.E space is going to get filled in next year, right? Right? RIGHT? ;)
