2004: Year of the Mouse for CF:LP?

I like the idea of a spinning mouse. Not every amusement park goer wants to ride MF, TTD or Maggie, hard as that may be for some of you to believe.

Amen, Wahoo! That's precisely why I've been saying I want SFMM to lay off the coaster building and concentrate on other rides.

2004 Coaster Calendar now available. 13 Coasters in 12 months! Order in advance and save. Quantities are limited! See S&D Greetings for details.

But the people that do go to Cedar Point for those rides (a large part of their crowd) probably don't want to ride a spinning mouse (see usually short lines at Disaster Transport, Iron Dragon, Wildcat). Maybe at another Cedar Fair park a mouse would be a good fit, but not the Point, they're established as a thrill park, and if that's not your cup o' tea, outta head elsewhere (and yes, I know they have an extensive family section and market to families, but as far as coasters go, its a thrill park)

Riiiiigggggggght. I suppose that's why the Gemini is still the most popular coaster and they added capacity to a very tame mine train. I say we're running short on '-ests' to do here...

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

I rarely, if ever, see a short line for Wildcat. Disaster and Iron Dragon lines are generally short b/c they have good capacity. Actually, I understand that Maggie and Raptor have had "short" lines for much of the summer.

My biggest complaint about Cedar Point is that there are relatively few "family rides" available. Lots of stuff for the little kids, lots of stuff for the thrill seekers, but not a lot of stuff for everyone to enjoy at once.

Well if anyone should be complaining that their next coaster could very well be a mouse -- it's the WOF fans. The last coaster there was a 'rang. I honestly hope that we do get a mouse. When the 'Zinger was removed in 1997, that left a void on "family coasters," so either Worlds needs a mouse or a mine train - one or the other because they are lacking in the "family coaster" dept.

As for the point - I know I would queue up for a spinning mouse if they added one. I think the "-est" dept can have a couple years off.
