Back to school? Crowds down at SFGAdv?

Middle and high schools in some towns in this area of N.E. go back prior to labor day. For my kids (10th grade) that means August 28. I am going to SFGAdv for the first time ever on August 29; last full week of operation there, after that weekends only.
I am just wondering if that week will see less crowds at SFGAdv due to many people being back to school in that area by then?

You think that is early, some schools here in Ga go back as early as August 9!!!

damn august 9 when do you get out of school. i get out end of june and dont go back till beginning of September.

I wouldn't forsee major crowds. That park is always crowded though. I was there on Tuesday, July 3 and the crowds were fairly light, especially the first few hours the park was open.

Yes,there will be less crowds simply because people who rent summer homes down at the shore here go home by then and that takes a bit off the crowds.Schools around here also start back up right after Labor day to so,alot of families are getting ready to put their kids back in school around that time.I don't know about the people in NY and PA that come out here but,i am pretty sure they probably go back to school around that same time frame to.

I've been the SFEG when everyone in Public School is at school (I go to a private school and I don't start school until 2 weeks after Public School starts). The crowds are nearly empty at SFEG, but for SFGAdv, there shouldn't be any people there.

In Nyc we go back to school in sept as for newjersey im not sure but kmyabe the end of aug or same time as nyc so there might be crowdes but Great Adventure is always crowded. but it shouldent be that bad aslojng as you go erlie and on a weekday.
