Lines @ IOA

I'm going to IOA and i was wondering what the lines are like for the first week in August. Also what should i go on first?

Definitely head to Spiderman immediately. The line gets into the hour plus range quickly. There's no shame in running!

Then go ahead and jump on Incredible Hulk a couple of times before the lines fill up. Front row the first time is a must.

It's gonna be hard to pass the Hulk cause you have to walk right under it to get to Spiderman, but trust me, it'll be there when you get out of Spiderman!!

Dueling Dragons will freak the heck out of you when you realize that huge castle is the actual que line, but when we went last summer in July, you could pretty much walk right on it anywhere but the front. But then, again, that's the only place to ride. My suggestion is to hit Ice first for the crazy inversion effects (the headon with the castle rocks), then haul *** on Fire.

ya spidy has the longest ride at the park, and is prolly the best. DOn't forget about Jarrasic Park. You could allways get a fast pass for that on you way to duling aragons, and use it later. Also Posidans Fury is a nice attraction. You walk through it and it's airconditioned. IT's really a lot of fun!

Get to the Point, Cedar Point!

Spidey and Hulk ALWAYS get long lines, so go for them first. You should also try to hit the Hulk at night (it's a different experience)

As far as the other rides go, the line lengths vary greatly. Every time I've been to IOA, the line for Dueling Dragons has been relatively short. However, on my most recent trip, the line went all the way to the castle entrance.

I've also seen both very long and very short lines for Ripsaw Falls, Bilgerat Barge, Jurassic Park River Adventure, etc. Basically, expect that every line will probably be long, so if you see a short line anywhere, go for it!

Don't go to the direction of Hulk. Get to the park right when it opens. When the gates open, the GP always goes for the first thing they see, Hulk, and most of the people head to the Hulk/Spiderman. Go to the Dueling Dragons first because you can get 3 good rides without anyone in the station. I did this when I went in February. TRUST me, go to the DD first, not Hulk/Spiderman.

Do what you like, but Spiderman is ALWAYS the longest line in the park. Dueling Dragons although pound for pound may be the best thrill in the park, you WON'T find anything like Spiderman anywhere.

You're gonna wanna ride it more than once, trust me. Why wait over an hour everytime when you can hustle and come close to walking on at least the first time.

Dueling Dragons is in the back of the park. It'll wait for you.

If you stay at Hard Rock hotel or Portifino just flash your room key to the attendant at the rides and you go up the Universal Express pass lane :-)
