How Do You Deal With Line Cutters? Well since i'm only a 15-year-old, 107 lbs 5'5 guy, I usually don't do anything except for cuss at them in my mind. But that changed lt time I went to SFMM on April 27'th 2001. It was the Hallelujia Jubille and our church always goes since the park close at 1 A.M. Everytime I go, I go on the rides alone because I hate it when I'm with a crowd ad they have to eat or go to the bathroom. Also because I don't have to fight over which ride I wanna go on next. But anyways, The day was going by great. Got on all the rides so far and then I went back to ride GOLITH again. I was jut past the first back and forth line things when all of a sudden, like 5 people start cutting in front of everyone. I did nothing but everyone got pissed at them. Then more did it later in the line and then I started to get really pissed off. 10 minutes after that, MORE people started to cut. Then that crossed the line. I started cussing at them for like 5 minutes. They head and just kept going not caring. After that, everyone else started to block people from cutting. I swear, once I'm older and stronger, i'm gonna pick up anyone that cuts and take them to the of the line. How do you deal with them? BTW, LINE CUTTING IS NOT A SPORTING EVENT.

Well, I'm about 6'2" almost, and 230lbs, so I don't have a real problem. I just push people out of my way if they stop moving

When me and my fiance are in line and theres the constant rush of people saying excuse me i need to get up there with my friends we usually block the que line and tell them to bad they should have got on when there friends got on. The one thing that truely worked was when we use to work for a park and then come as guest my fiance got fed up with all the people cutting in line that when the next person said "excuse me" he pulled out his id tag and said "undercover security get back to the end of the line"

I am 16. 6`5, 250 lbs. and they usually stop right behind me. They one time cut my group in half in line for SOB. I cussed them out, which in turn got everyone around me riled up and the entire "mob" forced them back to the back. It was great.

Other people in the line rat them out and yell loud to let other people know that there are a few line cutters. Before long park security is there to escort them out of the park.

About five years ago a few of my friends and I went to SFMM and there were a few line cutters on Ninja. The ride was working off and on the whole night and this line cutter was harrassing another woman in line that gave away their cover. They made it all the way up to the front before the park security arrived. Any way, my friends and I got on for our last coaster for the day and by the time our ride was done the coaster had to be stoped for an extended amount of time; to take the cutter for questioning. The ride was off it's timing schedule and broke down once again and there was some hatred toward the cutter from everyone still in line.

Aw Heck.. I just take a baseball bat to ANY line cutter and beat the holy heck out of them!!! I wish..lol. I just block them or trip them til they hit the ground hard and then yell at the top of my voice CUTTER!! LINE CUTTER!!! But i like the baseball bat idea better!!!!

Buy your park jacket and employee ID tag after you quit working for said park. Wear to said parks and
claim you are undercover security or someone else with authority, and force them to the back of the line...

there are signs at SFMM posted very clearly that line cutters can be kicked out of the park without refund..ive only seen it a couple times...It does kinda piss me off, but not for long. I quickly forget about it

i dont care.. if they cut.. i look at them and just think *dam i should be cutting also* j/k ahha
i would cut if my friends or family is in front of me somewhere.

we have the same problem at SFA,Do you ever notice that it's the girls who cut the most and have the biggest attitude problems about it?at least at Sfa they do.at SFA 9 times out of 10 if some one is gonna cut in line then that some one is usually a girl!

at sfdl they watch for line cutters and smokers more then they do for the actual ride. In the SROS line theres at least one ride op monitoring the line so its not a big deal about line cutters at sfdl cuz they do get thrown out most the time and learn their lesson

I ran into some line cutting problems with my family at SFOG. We got to the park about an hour before the gate opened. And right when the gate finally did open, a large group of kids and counselors from a community day camp cut right in front of about 100 people, my family included. The park staff stood right there and did absolutely nothing. All of our booing and yelling about the passing group did absolutely nothing.

I tend to be more on the reserved quiet side, so I probably wouldn't do anything at all. Yeah, it's great being a whimp.

Well, here comes another one of my how to do it Martha Stewart style.

First, you need a cut out of the part on the map where line jumping is prohiited, etc; a walkie talkie, and a non-coaster buddy. Ok, when you see the person cutting you stop them give them the cut-out and pull out the walkie talkie and tell them they better get to the back or else you will call your friend and tell them that you have line jumpers and security will be here any minute on your tail. And then if they refuse to comply, simply call your buddy and make the crowd start yelling, "LINE JUMPERS" to get more people's attention (I.E.-Ride Ops, Managers, etc).

(*NOTE: A scared buddy who doesn't ride coasters - PRICELESS*)
