Ok, I am not usually one to complain, but for the second time this summer I went to SFNE and SROS broke down big time. We spent hours in line and never heard anything from the Ride ops. They finally came around and said "you might want to try another ride cause we don't know how long this will take." Now I fully expect rides to malfunction and need repairs but I also expect some common courtesy to tell the public what is happening. Rides at SFNE seem to malfunction a lot more than other parks, well parks other than SF's. Finally after we had left the park for a while they got it running again. We returned to what was the longest line I have ever been in for this ride. I only stuck it out because this was the second time in a month that I was trying to share this ride with a friend who had never been on it before. The last time we went which was also on a Sat. it broke for the whole day. We did eventually get on it but when we got up there they were not allowing you to pick your seat they just let 36 people in and that was it. Then due to this policy which certainly was not speeding up the slowest I have ever seen a two train op run, my friend and I were split up because there were two trios on the train. So much for sharing that first ride. Its still a great ride but SF really needs to learn how to handle things. Until they do they will remain the "K-Mart" of theme parks. They also need to do something about the smoking in lines, perhaps a "smart" death ray that strikes down all smokers?
