HELP

Okay, I suck at Roller Coaster Tycoon. I downloaded a lot of parks and rides from the internet, and when I double click the ride icons, Roller Coaster Tycoon comes up and a message like this appears "Ride design already installed." But I checked and checked and could never find the ride design that I downloaded. Can anybody tell me how to build the rides that I got from the net? Do I have to be in a certain scenario? Thanks in advance.

no..you shouldn't have to be in a certain scenario, except for some cases. what you need to do to get the ride in the game.....

Find the track (****.TP4), and drag and drop it into the file directory

*C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon\Tracks*

then go to a scenario where you will be able to build it, and put it in the park (it comes as a pre-set coaster)

If you can't build them but you do have the coaster type, remember there may be enhancements to the ride that you haven't researched yet (IE: 1/2 loop) and thus you wouldn't be able to build it yet.

If you have the Swiss Army Knife Trainer, use the "enable all rides" function [F10] and that will make all rides and special track/train options available. Then all rides should show up as being available.
