Mostly because at this point I have no way of remembering what order I rode everything in, I'll just first mention a couple interesting non-coaster things, and then into the coaster evaluation. first, since I was there with my brother and his girlfriend, (his girlfriend being unable to work up the nerve to ride much of anything.) I actually ended up riding the beastie, and adventure express twice. I got a SOB sports Quart, and that thing is just sick.. not only it is strangely penis-shaped, but it has a hand grasping around it's base, and a sign on it that says, "wood rules." *shudders*
on a final non-coaster note, for my last ride of the day, I hopped in line for Viking Fury. they anounced the ride was closing, with me the only one in line. however, the ride crew were kind enough to give me a ride with the entire boat to myself, and they even offered insight as to the best place to sit. It gave me that warm, special feeling. on to the coasters..
Face/Off - 2 laps. first on the very back/front in broad daylight, (very cool because during the inversions you could often see nothing but the sky.) and again at night facing 2 strangers. not the crap everyone says it is.
King Kobra - 2 laps. once day, once night. I'd have to rate the night ride better. I love this ride! the bunny hops rule, I got to see a really annoying teenager get smacked by weeds.
Vortex - 3 laps. Gawd, I LOVE this ride!! the drop is cool, the corkscrews are amazing because of the brakes just before them, and you can do a pretty cool trick on the vertical loops involving dropping a penny at the top and catching it below.
Beast - 1 lap. lines strangely long. but it's a helluva ride.
SOB - 1 lap. the restraints just plain suck. painful on the legs.
