Coasters that badly need paint jobs!

Force312, I sure hope your source is accurate, Mantis, Magnum, and Blue Streak are all in desperate need of paint. More to the Point, however, (LOL) are they going to resurface Mantis before painting? That ride is almost as rough as Chang - B&M makes the smoothest coasters on Earth (with perhaps Intamin a close second), but Kumba and Montu got resurfacing done with their paint jobs, and they run better than they have in a long time...

The Magnum need a paint job worse then any other ride I have ever seen it is sad to look at it being almost orange

Ninja at SFoG. The white paint on the supports is all grungy and rusty. Why not paint the whole coaster a new color? Heck! Deja Vu green rails is starting to show some rust on parts!

The Racer at PKI needs paint very badly. I would also have to say that Batman: The escape at Six Flags Astroworld needs to have some paint as well. I haven't been there but looking at the pictures you can tell that it needs help badly.

The Racer at PKI. I can remember as a kid how beautiful this coaster was compared to the way it looks now. Still, it's one of my all-time favorite rides.

The few steel ones at PCW. Not so much The Fly though since it isn't that old. For that matter there are other things in the park that need painting too (ie the rainbow on the bridge to Hanna Barbera land). They seem to make the effort when it comes to keeping up the grounds like landscaping and cleanliness.
Would it be too much to ask to splash some paint here and there?

Hehe, the "is magnum red or orange?" debate comes again.

Twister 2 at SFEG because when you go up the lift, the lift hill is all brown and orange. It's nasty!! Twister 2 needs a paint job right away. Even better, SFEG could destroy it and add a Deja Vu or a Double "racing" Impluse.

can they fix the rust on the rails? and bring them back to the metallic color?

Top Gun at PGA. The rails are so rusted and brown. Also the black paint is fading.

Mwatts3, several people at GTTP *cough*Dan*cough* heard about Cedar Point's schedule for painting Raptor, Mantis, and Magnum.

Their credibility was helped when they claimed Raptor was being painted in the off-season several months before it happened. :)

Anything at Six Flags........ My USA coasting is limited, but whenb I was there, I wasn't impressed with SFMW and MM's maintenance standards

from the coasters i've seen Steel Force needs one bad, theres black gross stuff streaking down the rails it looks horrible.

I hear it is getting a new paint job for next season. If you look very closely, you might be able to see the tint of blue ;)

Racer @ PKD. I mean when you re-track it, arn't you sposed' to paint the new wood too!? I have gotten hit by a paint chip when walking under it. Uhg. It's nasty.
