Kennywood names Mark Pauls new general manager

Mark Pauls has been named the newest general manager of Kennywood Park. He also says that parent company Palace Entertainment will move its headquarters to Pittsburgh.

It seems like this guy has passion for the park and will be a positive force. I'd love to see Kennywood regain some of the quality I feel has slipped a bit in recent years.

And for God's sake run 2 trains on Phantom.

I was at Kennywood yesterday, and I’ve got news for you..

Phantom was running 2 trains all day

Before this summer, I visited Kennywood during the summer of 2016 and 2019. I don't recall the ride EVER running two trains during two visits.

My visit split across two weekdays at the end of July, the week before they cut Monday and Tuesday from their operating schedule? Two trains both days, despite the reduced capacity of the park as a whole. It made a huge difference.
