Hotel Hints (Hershey)

Anybody got any good leads on cheap hotels by Hershey Park and Knoebel's.

At Hershey Park, there's a Comfort Inn about 10 minutes from the park.

I went to the comfort Inn and they wanted to charge me $140 - no way!

I found accommodation very expensive around Hershey. Ended up in a Traveldoge for $59. It wasn't very nice, but I got a $19 discount because she liked my English accent!!!

Knoebels is out in the middle of nowhere.

Have a great time at Hershey & Knoebels - they are both very good - better than Dorney and Kennywood!

You can get a room at the Econolodge in Grantville, PA less than 10 miles from the park for $40 per night. Several of us stayed there during the ACE convention. No pool, but clean. You need to make the reservation on the internet to get this rate.

When I went with my family last year we stayed at a Hampton Inn. Nice but nothing fancy. Anyway we got to stay free because the room they gave us had cat piss in it! It smelled worse the the horse collars on Anaconda at PKD!! I think you should try and think up a complaint to stay somewhere for free.
