Chugging onto store shelves on September 1, the Lego Disney Train and Station set is more than just a $330 piece of buildable Disney memorabilia. It’s a working train set made up of 2,925 Lego bits and controllable via a smartphone app.

Take my money! I have three of the trains from various years, the most recent being the Christmas train. They're all fun. I also have the Disney Castle, which is one of the most fun sets to build because it's so damn big. This looks like a winner.

I ordered the set on Wednesday and it was waiting for me after work last night. I worked for probably a few minutes shy of 4 hours and got through the locomotive, tender, and 1 of the 2 coaches. That's 5 of the 18 bags, not counting the one un-numbered bag with some larger pieces, the battery pack, and the car couplers. This is by far the largest set I've ever worked with, so it took me a few minutes to hit my stride (took me a good 15 minutes to figure out the couplers were in a separate bag). Lots of fun so far and I'll get back at it tonight.
Mine came today, but I haven't opened it yet. Nothing will take as long as the Falcon!
