Normally, I would say don't believe anything you read on "Thrillride," but there are a few Intamin standers out there. The one that comes to mind is Batman: The Escape in Astroworld. Originally opened in 1986 at SFMM as Shockwave!, they (intamin) helped along with the development of the first generation of standups. Notice (if you can find a pic of the trains) they are 4 accross "seating" like the modern B&M's. Walt & Claude (B&M) were still at Intamin at the time, which is why they look (and sound, from what I can remember) much like today's B&M standers.
