It's been about a year since the Kickstarter was funded, but CoasterDynamix finally shipped their Lego-compatible kits. I wrote about it here:

It's very cool, highly recommended.

Yeah, I need one of these in my life. For my kid, of course ;)

It's OK if it's for you. My kid doesn't get to build the expensive sets like the Disney Castle or the Ferris Wheel. He can gently play with them after they're built and only with supervision. :)

I hadn't got my set in yet. I wonder what is going on.

Did they send you a tracking number Jeff?

Nope, it just appeared. I thought they were going to do a mass email when they arrived and started shipping, but they just arrived.

How different are the ties/support connectors and rails from the original set they put out a few years ago? I've tried a few times but the ties and connectors seemed to bend towards breaking way too easily trying to get the rails on and shaped.

I got my set in last week and built it. Putting the track rail on was the hardest part but I used a tool called a hair dryer to heat up the track so it wouldn't be as rigid so I can easily put the track in the ties.
