Exactly, the mistake was funny. S:UE at Cedar Point Cleveland. LOL. I was like, "Huh? Did I hear that correctly?"
The show started off with the major steel coasters, like MF, Raptor, Goliath, Steel Dragon in Japan, Hypersonic, Mantis, Magnum, coaster at Silver Dollar, and a few others. They talked about whether we've reached the limits on height. The first dude said we have. Duh? No we haven't, we want to go higher.
They spent a good 10 minutes showing Hypersonic with Stan Checkits describing how the ride works.
In the middle of the show they talked about ride saftey. But they did admit that most accidents happen at those little traveling carnivals. A girl was throw from a Hymilia ride. They did admit that riding a coaster is safer than riding in a car. They talked about state inspectors, and how they need more to check those rides.
They showed the guy who is breaking the record on The Boss and what it takes to ride for 100 days.
Next they went on to the coaster simulators at Disney Quest. They talked about building your own coaster. The dude said it was better than the real thing because you can do whatever you want. Dude, get real. I've been on those simulators, that spin in a circle and upside. Big Deal, they're nothing, wow, you go upside while looking at a tv screen.
A pretty good show, footage of many rides, and none of that "Let's go on the ride with this person and watch them scream" junk. Alot of cut shots, I wish they would show the entire ride, but that's life. They had this one section where they interviewed this dude while cutting to the coaster. They could have showed the entire coaster ride with his voice over it. I hate it when they show a coaster, cut to an interview with some guy talking bs, then cut back to the ride. Whatever.
Notice the coasters they had on there to start the show. Did they talk about adventure rides? NO. They talked about Hyper, and Giga coasters, in fact, that was the opening line of the show. They started off with MF and Steel Dragon. What does that tell you?
We want GIGA coasters.
The GIGA coaster rules.
