Cedar Point's waits

Hello, I will be planning a trip to Cedar Point this summer, I was wondering how long the waits are for rollercoasters. Do they too have some kind of "fast pass"?

No, but a recent news article said they are considering it but will not choose the right "fast pass" system until they know it will be appropriate to make the guest's experience pleasent.

Some may complain aboot the waiting, but it's their fault. Going to Cedar Point on a weekend is just plain dumb. Another thing I don't get why they complain is because Cedar Point has the best capacity ever. It's not like they only run one train or something........

Well, some people can't help going on weekends, and as long as you accept that the waits are long then (especially July/August) it isn't a problem. If you know it's coming it won't be as likely to ruin your day! To answer your question, the waits can range from 5 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on crowds, weather (good or bad), time of day (midday is worst, usually), if other major rides are shut down for any reason, etc. Really isn't a guessing game for the most part about how long the lines will be, just be prepared to wait and be pleasantly surprised if you don't have to! :)

im scared..... im going to cedar point on july 10th and 11th, a monday and tuesday.......do you think the lines will be really bad on a monday and tuesday in july?????!!!!! someone please tell me, this is my first time going to the point. did i mention im driving over 2,500 miles for this park?

You should be OK. Unless there is some huge group going it should be alright. Probably walk on-10 minutes for lesser coasters, and 30 min-1 hour for larger coasters. Expect a wait of 45 minutes-2 hours for The Force. Do not worry, I would wait (and actualy thought this out one day) 8 hours for it. The lines are shortest right when you get there and around closing. GET THERE EARLY.

By the way, the 10th and 11th is a Tuesday and Wednesday, not a Monday and Tuesday :)

Hey everyone, I'm going to Cedar Point next friday leaving at 1:00pm perfect pay day! What's the attandance like during the week? I will be at Cedar Point July 12-18th. I will be driving all day Friday & Saturday we should get there around 9:00 or 10:00am. If were not to tired from driving we may go Sunday what are the crowds like on Sundays? On Millennium Force do ride op's still pick your seat or not? Anything new with the park? Can't wait to ride americas rollercoast once again. If someone has been to Cedar Point already could someone tell me if anything is new or not?

They don't? When I was there they ran one train for a lot of rides.
