The summer of 2017 will bring two new rides to Casino Pier in Seaside Heights – a Gerstlauer Euro-fighter roller coaster and a Ferris wheel.

It looks like I'll finally have a good reason to return to Seaside next year. I actually haven't been back there since Sandy, despite living only an hour away.
The coaster will be a Eurofighter 320+ model (like Untamed or Rage), only without the ending helix. I'm hopeful that the lapbar-only trains will provide a comfortable ride, although I'm not sure that better restraints are all that's needed to smooth out the ride. The newer lapbar-only Eurofighter/Infinity Coasters are very enjoyable, but I imagine that is just as much due to improvements in track engineering as it is due to the lapbars. I'm not sure that they're making any changes to the 320+ track profile other than removing the helix.

Same track, put a lapbar on, magical transformation IMO. Chiller, Flight of Fear, Revolution SFMM. Vibrating my body and/or butt may be jostling, but bouncing into an OTSR can be downright unpleasant....just my experience.
