I was thinking something along the lines of a rotating tunnel; but instead of a drop track (ala Verbolten), the track and train rotate 360 degrees in a barrel roll.

Picture this: Train enters tunnel and parks. Some ominous voice/sound plays and the entire track begins to tilt to the right and completes a 360 degree rotation without moving forward along the track. Once complete and fully right side up, the brakes disengage and the train rolls forward and completes the turn into the station...

Haunted Swing with the train swaying gently and doing (virtual) barrel rolls....
