Inverted coasters barefoot?

I know on a ride like Alpengeist, you're supposed to sit on your shoes if they are the kind that may flip off, but does anyone take thier shoes off for the fun of it? I think it would feel good to take my shoes off for a ride, does anyone do this and does it feel as good as I think it would?

Don't know about that, but at the PKI media day in 1999, they let us all ride Drop Zone barefoot. That was fun.

Yes, I do! I take off my shoes and shove them in a bag when i go on Volcano! It is a great feeling to get ride of your toejam at 70mph+;)

I never take off my shoes on a inverted coaster but it alwaysed crossed my mind i just dont feel like takening them off to run araound the ride platform bare footen with 25 other riders getting off where shoes becuase that mixed with being barfotted means alot of crushed toes if ur not carefull plus since i wouldent be waring sandels i would get star dowens on to haha he thinks hes ganna loss his sneakers lol.

I do on S:UE every time, it's a great feeling, it feels like they're under water, they also get aired out;)

I always take my shoes off on any ride in which your legs dangle freely (S&S Towers, Inverteds etc...) It feels great after walking around the park all day.

I would, but at PKD theres a new rule for Volcano. If you have shoes that don't secure around your ankle you MUST sit on them or strap them through the seatbelt. If you come to the ride w/o shoes, you will not be able to ride. You cannot give your shoes to a friend or put them on the loose articles carts, if you do you will be asked to get them and strap them on the ride. And if you have regular shoes, they MUST be worn on the ride. I think they dont want anyone to step on anything, but i dunno.

I have before, but I normally,dont want to take the time to take off my shoes when in line, I just want to getonand have a ton of fun !!!

They let you take your shoes off on the Bee swing at DCA. It feels nice.
