3-D Roller Coaster Designer

I have never posted in this RCT forum before so I don't know if this subject has come up before so please bare with me. But anyways, I saw this game at a computer store call 3-D roller coaster designer, has anyone played it before, and if so is it worth $25?

No, don't buy it. I bought it and played for about 15 minutes. You can only build wood, steel, and inverted coasters. But they are lacking so many things. There are very few elements given to you, and you can not decide hill heigth or steepness. No banked turns. There are only about 20 track peices to choose from and the physics are all wrong. Stick to RCT for designing coasters, and do not buy 3D Roller Coaster Designer.

another game to avoid at all costs is roller coaster factory,I have a copy and it just plain stinks you cannot do any thing good in this game,but thats what you get for 10 bucks.for now stick with rct its about the best coaster game available,at least until rct2 comes out.

I bought Roller Coaster Factory...and haven't played it in awhile. I will play it only when I'm EXTREMELY BORED! 10 wasted bucks, oh well, I'll get over it. Over It! :D

at least we didn't waste 30 bucks or more on rcf.

3D roller coaster designer is a sequel to roller coaster factory, just thought people should know. and i also bought RCF, the physics are all wrong. The "150ft" track peice only gets you a top speed of 39mph!! and the ride stalls like its on square wheels or something. dont waste the money, no wonder it was so cheap.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure about this game, I didn't want to but it before getting some advice.
