A motion simulator in every living room! (think that would win me the nomination?)
I can't even muster enthusiasm for 3D movies. I've seen a couple; meh. Didn't really bring anything to the experience for me. When I want to watch a movie, I want to watch a movie.
Now, most of the movies I watch at home tend to be films like Sunset Boulevard, All About Eve and Duck Soup. Not sure what this device could bring to those classics. :-)

I tried the D-Box test seat with the Force Awakens trailer and wasn't that impressed. It seemed silly to have the chair shake during a lightsabre battle, for example. But a friend of mine saw the full movie with D-Box and really liked it, so I gave it a shot. It was actually pretty fun, but I wouldn't want to experience it that way in my first viewing of a film -- I was always 'aware' when the seat was vibrating, and it felt more like an amusement park ride. Kind of took me out of the moment.
It's not often that I see a movie twice in the theater, so I probably won't do D-Box again... until Episode 8 maybe. I doubt I'd have much use for a home version of the same, but I'm kind of impressed how well Immersit (appears to) work with existing furniture.
