They won't have to arrive two by two, but visitors can board a massive re-creation of Noah's Ark beginning July 7, 2016. And they'll have more than 40 days and 40 nights to experience it.

It's kind of a shame. I'd like to see this just to SEE it, and kids would probably love it, but I'd never ever ever EVER give this guy or this group money. Great idea for entertainment purposes, but the agenda behind it...well, that's another story.

Yeah. There's probably going to be special lines for the rides just for gay people that makes the wait LONGER! LOL

Orlando's Holy Land Experience is adding "Trin-I-Tee" miniature golf. I'm sure the folks at Ark HQ are kicking themselves.

A chance to pelt biblical characters with golf balls?
Now that's a money maker!
I am generally a fairly open minded Christian, but there's something incongruous about putting images of the Lord and Savior around a fake putting green...though now that I think about it, I'm sure he's received many a prayer from a fairway or teebox before.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
I refuse to even consider setting foot in the Holy Land (okay, maybe if you paid me a considerable sum I would), but if the mini-golf course is outside the gates I may consider it just to see how ridiculous and not good it is. To be clear, my issue with Holy Land is more the group behind it than the idea of the park itself.
EDIT: I decided to actually read the article after posting, and never mind, since the thing is inside the gates.

I'm a generally open minded atheist, but when I read the article, the whole idea just seemed not quite right to me. Then again, as a generally open minded atheist, I still get slightly annoyed by people who show up to church in sweatpants and a T-shirt. That's how you respect your God? Maybe putt putt golf is the way to reach some people....

Is it true that Holy Land Experience gets away with being a non-profit because they open for free one day per year? Was it here that I read that?
