Liquid Planet is set to hit the auction block Dec. 2, but Kevin Dumont has chained himself to one of his water slides in a last-ditch effort to save his business from foreclosure.

If this strategy works, could be an idea to help save Conneaut...

I know the first place I would invest is with someone who is a little unchained (see what I did there?). That, and I suspect you could buy the business for less at auction.

Just wait for the demo-crew to get there, and wait patiently.

With your turtles.

No - I don't see what you did there. Maybe if you gave me a little bit of the melody (see what I did there) it would help.

Just take a look at the place on Google maps. Really says it all.

The owner have set up a gofundme page, I can't help it but feel bad for the guy.

Yeah the water park is small, but it's a good size and a good start for the area though.

To be honest, I was expecting an article on Dan Koch.

The gofundme account now has $1,575. Up $230 from yesterday. What happens to the funds in those accounts if the goal isn't reached?

Owner posted his cell number and requested texts or calls (or even visits) to help with loneliness.

Will he let us slide down after our visit?

I love this guy, and I support him 100%. Oh, I don't know anything about his business dealings, but anybody who would chain himself to a waterslide is awesome. And at the top, no less. If it had been me, I would've put a chair on the ground and chained myself to one of the supports. You know, in case I needed to make a quick getaway.

Anyone that follows through with donating to this mess certainly doesn't deserve their money back.

Is that toxic looking cesspool and "beach" part of the water park? Sure looks like it as there is a path going to it.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

This park looks like it barely qualifies as a waterpark. I only see about 2 or 3 slides on Google Maps. And the reviews being left on Google aren't speaking too highly of this place. Most are saying that the staff was rude and played the "greed" card a few times. And some even said their website contained false advertising.

Can't they just let the debt slide?

I think it's too late at this point. It's spiraling out of control, and I'm pretty sure the place is drowning. I don't think they can float they payments any longer - nothing's coming down the tube, and they can't funnel their assets.

I think it's safe to say they're no longer able to keep their head above water.

They don't even have a frickin pool. They don't have a swimming pool. Admission is 25 BUCKS. Are they crazy? They need a lot more than 4 waterslides and a splash zone to justify 25 bucks.

Heavens. That's not a water park. That's a water playground at best.
