^ Precisely my thoughts since it was announced. Seems like if something of this size is going to open in 2017, there should at least be some type of ground work happening.

I was on the Orlando Eye the weekend before last, and I was trying to remember which block it was supposed to be on. A total lack of construction anywhere did not help me remember.
