Great America Tickets

Hi--

I am planning on going to Great America on July 7th and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get tickets for less than the gate price. Some grocery stores here sell tickets for $25.00 but they are only good for St. Louis, are there any stores in the Rockford area or near the park that offer the same discount? Thanks for your help. Also if you know of any rides that we must ride, that would be helpful too!
Thanks a lot.
They're like $36 dollars at the gate. Dominiks(SP?) sells them around the same price, but are more convenient than buying them at the park. I'm not really sure about discounts, though.

Try Dominicks Finer Foods. There is one on Grand AVE about 1 mile west of Great America. It is about $30 versus the $39.95 at the gate. IMO must rides include Whizzer (if it is open), Viper, Raging Bull, Demon, (OH HECK ALL OF THE COASTERS),Deja Vu might not be open yet but if it is DEFINITELY RIDE IT, Giant Drop (if you like freefalls, DONT MISS V2, There are some good flat rides too if you like those. They are strewn throughout the park. Drop me a line I may be interested in meeting up with ya if and when you go. That is of course if you want. If not ENJOY your day at Six Flags Great America. If you want a good eat place in the park (there are plenty just outside the gates like Burger King and McDonalds) I would have to recommend the Crazy Buffalo Saloon in the Southwest Territory. They have a wide selection of foods and even a buffet which is really good considering you are in an amusement park. The pricing though is on the more expensive side for anything other than the buffet. Personally I like the buffet. Plenty of choices and usually good food....unless they over cook the roast beef which tends to happen more often than not.

Also I have $5 off coupons I can send you but trust me Dominick's is cheaper.

Also if you have a season pass to SF St Louis then it is of course valid at SF Great America (SFGAm)

I haven't really heard much about cheaper tickets in the Rockford area. About this Dominicks...which side of the interstate is it on?

$10 off with a specially marked cans of Coke products (bring the can to the front gate). Also, buy one, get one free tickets with a coupon and reciept from Speedway or Super America gas stations ($8 of gas min.)

Those are the best specials I know about. The buy one get one free basically makes your ticket $20. Can't beat that ! :)
All dominicks in chicago land sell then for cheaper, it is worth taking advantage of because they're 10 dollars cheaper, and you don't hae to wait in line to buy a ticket at SFGAM (the line is long)

Dominicks is opposite the interstate (west) from Great America....It is about 5 lights down the road from the interstate. Maybe 6. And going west from the interstate it will be on the left hand side. Gurnee Mills Mall will be on the right hand side of the road just after the interstate.
