Universal's theme park business is hotter than a fire-breathing dragon. The chief executive officer of Universal's parent company, Comcast Corp., talked to analysts a little bit about it on Thursday. Cash flow has tripled since Comcast first started looking into the business, he said, and guest satisfaction is high because the parks are offering so many new attractions.

To be fair, I think the hotel room count was very right-sized before Harry Potter. It was not usually a big deal to get a room there, and there were always discounts and solid packages to be had. They've been pounding the local market with cheap stays at Cabana Bay, which I assume is just in the short term while they build awareness.

I suspect that it will. They are extending the water taxi there. That was the big surprise to me... I didn't realize there was room between Cabana Bay and Royal Pacific.
