Question About Millennium force

Does anyone know why mill force is loud this year cuz it was so silent last year?

Why would it be louder this year? It's not like the ride becomes louder because it wants to...

I had heard it was squeeking more this year than last, but I havent been up there yet to prove it...

It *IS* squeaking much more than last year. Why? I have no idea. But I know I'm not imagining things :rolleyes

First of all, "cuz" isn't a word. Please use proper spelling per our TOS and FAQ.

I don't know that it's squeaking more than it did at the end of last season, but it is squeaking the way it did when they add the concave nylon wheels.

It is squeaking WAY more than last year. It's litterally so loud it makes Mean Streak sound quiet. Now yes, it has to do with the wheels, and temp. At least they are not changing the wheels every hour this year. They have a lot more of the high temp wheels than at the end of last season on the train. I think the only parts that have the original wheels are the very front set of the lead car and the very last set of the train (I could be wrong, but pretty sure). So with more nylon wheels, it just creates more squealing. It starts to get somewhat annoying on certain days (depending on the wait) when it goes through the final overbanked turn. IMO Blue train is the quietest and goes the fastest. The train still does actually speed up throughout the day though. I just wish they could fix the squealing. Overall, I sill love the ride, squealing or not!! ;)

I like early morning rides when it barely makes it over the Magnum Hill and through the last turn. Also, does anyone know what the heck that shaking is all about at the bottom of the first drop? Its very noticable in the middle to back of the trains.

It IS squeaking a lot this year. It was loud last year, but not squeaky.
