Coming in 2015! Six Flags Discovery Kingdom’s newest roller coaster attraction is a perfect balance of anticipation and suspense, unbridled thrills and unmatched wonder – where you’re constantly at the cusp of heading into an inversion and you wonder when will it ever happen?
With the new Dare Devil Chaos Coaster, it is a matter of momentum that finally takes riders, seated face-to-face or back-to-back, looping full speed around the single circular track up to seven stories high, only to stop and suspend riders upside-down before reversing direction for more thrills and fun.

If in your reality you want it to be considered a coaster, it can be. If in your reality you do not want it to be a coaster, it doesn't have to be.
I think the real question here is, will Jeff include it in the track record?

I will be fine with it being included in the track record or not but using RCDB as a conservative guide, they are not currently counting the rides as coasters. The argument can certainly be made either way, however I have chosen Coasterbuzz to be my 'official' track record for the last decade and I will continue to do so regardless of this interesting case being made by Six Flags.
I'm sheriff of this here rollercoaster.
I think this is another case of Six Flags unfairly catching crap.
The manufacturer sells the ride as a compact roller coaster.
I suppose Six Flags doesn't have to perpetuate the terminology, but it originates with the manufacturer.
A Schwarzkopf Katapult ride would be infinitely more convincing...
This is a P&B knock-off, but the point remains.
