What do you that SFGA will get next year?

Maybe nothing kinda like after they got raging bull, but any thoughts?

since most parks take a year to let the profits roll in from an attraction and considering that Six Flags is cutting back on spending I'd have to say that GAm is going to get nothing besides a few new streets, but that's coming from the city not the park.

Nothing, they advertise Deja Vu and V2 as making history, they'll definatley think that should keep us satisfied for a while, maybe a new stunt show or a flat ride, i did hear of an entertainment village going t the town board, but i can't really say anything. BTW, the contract with B&M was for 4 coasters, so we can always hope.

Just kidding. I don't think that they will get anything for the simple fact of the park's history. Every other year they get their new ride. (Iron Wolf, '90, Batman, '92, etc. etc.) So I think we have to wait till 2003.

I would look for the park to continue to improve the park. Some area's could get a major overhaul with fresh paint and themeing.

Actually I remember that in 1997 giant drop was built then in 1998 the kids park was built with a rollercoaster then in 1999 Raging Bull was built. So they don't build one every other year.

99 - Raging Bull
01 - Deja Vu and V2
03 - The year most likely for a new coaster

I hope I'm wrong and they'll add a new coaster a year earlier :))

Next year or in the very near future, they should be getting a Ferris Wheel. And also a flat ride replacement for Cajun Cliffhanger.

They did get a coaster in 1998: Spacely Sproket Rockets. Although, that is a rare example. The new kids area at SFGAm were marketed more than the individual coaster unlike Rungrats Runaway Reptar at PKI this year.

I think the Whizzer will be taken out, I know, that sucks. But I think that the park will go by storm and totally suprise everyone like they usually do. I bet everyone here, somethings going to happen. Something big, I just have A feeling. Why should SFWOA get all this attention, like they are gonna build 5000 rides in A year, SFGA never ever dissapoints, they know what they are doing.

Anyways...I was thinking 2002/2003 they might get a B&M flyer...you know how SFGAm likes to get their hands on those newer types of B&M coasters.

Fat chance. Knowing the pattern, there's no way they'll add a new coaster for a long time. Ferris Wheel, most likely, considering Wintrode's remarks to the Gurnee Plan Commission when several members were (in a nice way) displeased about the removal of the Sky Whirl.

I am surprised they added two coasters in one season. Now, if we could only get one of them to work...

How about we wait for Deja Vu to open, and enjoy that and V2 for a few more months (like, until the end of the season) and then ponder what they will get. Why is it that nothing interests anyone unless it isn't open?

A regular ferris wheel? NO THANKS! Although Sky Whirl was often described as a "Triple Arm Ferris Wheel", I really don't consider it a ferris wheel...
