Yeah, you do unfortunately have to ride it defensively because of the restraints. I can't make excuses for that, and admit I can overlook the fault only because I've had "practice." Basically you have to lean into the turns, and not be taller than me.

Im quite tall and have no problems with Maverick, however I too have had lots of practice.

When I ride a coaster that I think is going to bang the restraints into my neck, like Vortex, Vekoma boomerangs, ect, I hold on near the top of the restraint and let my head rest between my hands. It seems to work well.
I don't remember if I used this technique on my one ride (so far) on Maverick.

That technique works great on Maverick.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I am still waiting on Outlaw Run to break into the Top 100. I wonder how many more riders/rankings it needs to get on the list. What is it currently at?
I am sure at least 40 buzzers has been on this one.
Hopefully I don't have to wait 3-4 years for it to get enough to get on the list like The Prowler was.
So what is the minimums set at currently for it to be ranked?

According to the CoasterBuzz Top 100 FAQ page, a ride generally needs to have at least 45 ratings to qualify for the Top 100.
No new entrants, but I succeeded in helping X-Flight get pushed above Wild Eagle, which I think counts for some public service. ;)
Also, note the climb for Raging Bull. I had to give it a nudge up after a lap near the back on it yesterday. I found myself very much enjoying it, far more so than I remembered.
All we need are a few more Goliath riders, though. I'm interested to see where it might fall on the list.
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
Whoa... Leviathan just entered the list with a bullet... at #1.
I checked the data, and it's legit. It's not a spammy incident.
As for why it only took 38 riders to rank (which I personally think is too small of a sample), there are actually a few hundred ratings for the ride, but it's staggering how many track records only have 20 to 30 rides on them. Believe it or not, the split for the top half of TR's in terms of size is pretty high, but with a pretty small sample.

Passports are good to have. When you remove that barrier removed to leave the country, you're more likely to do so.

My wife badgers me every 6 months or so that we NEED passports. She won't tell me why. There are plenty of places in the US that we want to visit before we worry about crossing borders. And after my sister's nightmare visit to Mexico where she was extorted for hundreds of dollars (TWICE!) by the police, I'm in no rush to leave 'Merica...
But then again, what do I know?
But there are some pretty easy and low-impact uses too, namely Canada, Mexico and cruises out of FL and TX.

So you can go to Denmark, Shane? (haha)
Or in case Coasterbuzz decides to host "Leviathanathon?"
I agree that you should get one. You just never know. What if that last minute deal on a cruise/airfare/whatever pops up and you don't have time to wait and get one last minute? Or your wallet gets stolen. Your Drivers License, credit cards, etc, are now all missing, but at home you still have another form of ID to make your life that much simpler until you can get replacements.
As for the cost, that's the trickiest part. It doesn't matter how much money you make, shelling out $135 for something you aren't even going to use is hard to do. Can't help you there, mate.
