P.S. Fly Airbus.

Really? I always thought of Airbus as the Intamin of aircraft, not Boeing.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I typed in "Tree Joke." I'm not an expert on comedy, but I don't think it was trying very hard. Like, on a scale of 1-10 on how funny I was trying to be, it would be in the negatives.

Then why did you even bother? I don't post much (at least consistently) for two reasons, one being that I usually don't have much to add to the conversation and the other being that I don't have much time.

Exactly. A good rule of thumb before you mash the submit button (and this is a good rule anywhere) is to ask a few questions. Does this make sense? Is this funny? Am I following the line of conversation? And most important, Am I contributing anything meaningful or relevant with this post? And if you're unsure, hold it. Come back later and see what others have said in the meantime and re-read your post. If its still something you're really aching to say then ok.

We've all laid goose eggs here, and that's bound to happen. But following these few simple tips will keep you better engaged in the long run, add to your credibility, and help you develop friends here, too. Oh, and keep you from getting yelled at.
