Yesterday when I was there they had just gotten some brand new water dummmies. They spent most of the day cleaning out sand bags and filling up the dummies. Around 6 p.m. they tested it twice and it worked perfectly with the new water dummies in the train. Although it was extremely slow going through the cobra roll on the way back, I don't think the train will make it through without a full load of passengers.
It sure was a great sight to see a clean polished station, it almost looked operational except for the few big tractors and things sitting next to it. Even the queue is done, and the dark blue they painted the outside of it looks really nice. I talked with two Vekoma guys (the ones with the Vekoma collard shirts and heavy accents). They told me that testing will go till Tuesday. So it could be possible for it to open Thursday or maybe even Wednesday. All I know is that the station is perfectly clean of all tools and debris, along with the train, it's just waiting for some passengers.
