So you complain about a system that you don't want to participate in. You understand why that's a problem, right?

I believe apathy gives me more of a right to complain.
It's easy to talk about how badly the rest of you screwed things up. I don't have to be vested in something to be allowed to point out that you're all doing it wrong.
It'd be hypocritical to complain about something I screwed up, right? :)
In a more serious sense and closer to what you're saying - the system exists. I don't have to like it (and choose not to participate) but it affects me so I get a voice (and the right to complain).
Seems not participating and voicing displeasure would be exactly the right course of action under those circumstances.
Or something like that.
I suppose if you're complaining, technically you are participating. You suck at nihilism.

I suppose that's fine as long as you're not expecting some change in the outcome.

See, I think complaining outside the system has the potential to make much more meaningful, actual change.
You don't change the world by voting.
I think your definition of change is too big. That, and at least with voting, you are quantifiably heard.
