In the constantly changing culture of synthetic drug use, officials were faced Saturday night with suspected overdoses from a drug called 2C-P. An electronic dance music show at Quassy Amusement Park was shut down late Saturday after a number of concertgoers were taken to hospitals for suspected drug overdoses, police said.

I agree. But Ministry's first album (which I'm pretty sure they disown) would fit in with Erasure. ;-)
What this really says is WE'RE OLD! We've become those old guys who "don't get" the modern trends!

Having said that, I'm not on the bandwagon that drugs are for losers. There are plenty of reasons people do them. That's pretty much lumping people in a group again and judging them all.

Most people our age forgot about Ministry after Psalms 69 from 1992. I have to say they are missing out. They have some awesome more recent albums, my favorite being The Last Sucker.
...And I don't know if drugs are more or less popular within any one particular genre of music. Different genres have different popular drugs to go with them, for the most part.
