After 20 years with the idea of building a theme park on land surrounding Zoo Miami simmering on the back burner, two companies are now moving forward with bids to break ground. One proposal, dubbed "Dinosaur Park International," would be science-minded, featuring dino-centric exhibits and a museum. The other plan, proposed by 20th Century Fox, would be more Orlando-style, with rides and attractions based on the movie studio's films, such as Ice Age and Rio.

I read the title of this and the first thing I pictured were Fox executives in a cage match with dinosaurs. Go dinosaurs! :-)

Fox was only the distributor, Disney owns the rights, so that will never, ever happen.
Rio was, according to many I know, very popular and a great movie. I passed. But Fox does have a lot of properties to make a few decent attractions from.
Titanic, the ride, anyone?
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
OK, I should probably clarify before I dig myself into too big of a hole.
Here is a list of 20th Century Fox's movies for each decade. There are obviously some excellent movies in that list. Recently, there have been a lot of duds. Many of the studios are putting out some incredibly dumb movies in recent years.
And yes, a flume ride themed to Titanic would be amazing.
Wasn't Shoot the Rapids the first Titanic-themed ride?

If someone had wanted to make a popcorn scent joke, he or she would have already done it.
