May and June are typically soft news months because nothing really happens. The parks open, but the coverage of new rides and what not tends to build in the weeks prior to opening. Things start to pick up again in July with construction projects and then announcements. Typically, you only see a lot of news this time of year if there's a deadly accident, which I'd rather not see, pageviews or not.
