Sirocco/Turbine had been closed for four years ('09-'12) at Walibi Belgium. I had no idea it was being rehabbed. Apparently refitted with a new LIM launch system by Gerstlauer (the same folks who brought us the lovely new trains on Hersheypark's Sooperdooperlooper), the ride is now fully enclosed and reopening in June. It will operate under its new name, Psyke Underground.
I haven't entirely given up on KK's shuttle...mostly, though...
P.S. to staff: Sorry for the multi-edits, tried to copy/paste unsuccessfully...

Walibi had 2 choices with Turbine: sell/scrap the ride and put a new coaster in the building, or rehab the ride itself. I'm glad they picked the second!
If I understand correctly, previously the building had housed only the loop portion of the ride, and now the building completely encloses the ride...must be nice to hit the top of the back spike, indoors!
I'm sure they're looking around and saying, "Oh gosh, that's a Schwartzkopf, we should take it down."

More likely, they're saying "hey, this ride is near the end of its lifespan and would require a large investment to keep it running - why not buy something new instead." It's understandable...
Personally, I'd rather give praise, props, and kudos to SFGAm, SFoT, Hershey, and Walibi for making the decision that these rides are worth the investment - rides that today's parents can ride with their kids, and remember when they rode with their parents a generation ago.
