New No-Limits Coaster Video: "Super Giant"

I made this coaster in the preparation to make a fantastic and crazy layout. It does not have an interesting terrain or scenery, but it goes through record breaking speeds and heights for a wooden coaster. If you combine that with Gravity Group style steel supports, and RMC style over-banks, then you got a crazy ride. You'd think that the G forces would go into red and yellow G's, but they don't. I kept them safe and intense.

Maybe this could be Kings Island's 2014 new coaster. It's record breaking like the Son of Beast, but a lot smoother. Only time can tell...

My video has a POV and an off ride view. I spent a lot of time on it so please supply feedback. If you want to ride the ride, the video link is below:

Like I said in the other topic you posted this in, it needs some terrain work to be really good and interesting. Maybe some more drops too. Hey man, you asked. :)

I didn't like it until I imagined terrain. It could be really good. I really like the first drop.

I'm thankful that you watched it and gave me comments. I might work on the terrain and release a new video.

Brakes on the speed bump after the first drop? Someone's been watching too many Intamin POVs.

That's a big ride Tyler! Definitely what Travis said, pull up the terrain all over the place.

Should I make another video of the terrain version?

Tonight I'm going to make a video of my 165 mph ride.

^Yes. I would spend some time on your Super Giant design. Spend a week on it, or more. Let ideas cook; sleep on it, see where you can improve things. Work on terrain; try to make it look as realistic as possible.

I'm going to release a video of a ride called NASCAR: Ultimate Speed. It is a Mauer X-Car coaster that I made in response to Formula Rossa. It has 160 mph+ speed, insane over-banks, great terrain, and it is very smooth. I'll release it on this forum page.

That was a pretty well-designed coaster, Tyler. I like it a lot!

As for your woody without terrain, I want to give you an analogy. I write and record my own music at home. Apart from the mastering, because I'm really no good at that, I try to make sure that my songs are to my liking and finished to the best of my ability before I let internet friends hear them (not that they are any good lol.) You showing us the terrain woody without the terrain being finished would be just like if I released a song without the drum track.

Just something for you to think about. Keep up the good work, buddy.

Good design - I was most impressed with the dual loading/unloading stations. That's good thinkin :) How did you capture the video? The NoLimits frame seems to be tilting all over the place? I wanted to see the odometer - I'm assuming that's all LIMs at the start and not LIMs followed immediately by brakes (like on Formula Rossa)?

The tilting is because of youtube. It goes to me, "your video seems shaky. Make it not shaky?" I clicked yes and it messed it up.

There are LIMs the whole way but the up hill ones slow it down to avoid rediculus G's.

You can "undo" the change that youtube made, or re-upload the video :) Just fyi.

So, you have brakes immediately following LIMs? Why not just have a few less LIMs? It's seems like creating power to waste it... for the sake of saying the ride goes a certain speed? Formula Rossa does that, which makes no sense.

I don't want to reupload because youtube took 2 hours to do so.
