That might be true, however subjective, but it doesn't mean that there isn't a business there. Vekoma dominated the medium-sized "family" coaster niche for years, and still does. And honestly, they're nice rides. The post-SLC/boomerang Vekoma has had some real hits, too. Expedition Everest is fantastic.

Nit-picky? I'm just stating the facts. Vekoma makes almost only cloned coasters. On their website, they have the layout of their types of coasters. I feel like they "Cookie Cut" their coasters. Here's their website. (Click here)
In addition to the fabulous Disney rides - including Everest, RnRC, new Space Mountain-DL & DLP....Vekoma has also built some cool motorbike rides, some *really nice* UK inverts (Jubilee Odyssey and Kumali), the GIBs (not my personal favs, but very popular), their flying coasters which are widely acclaimed, and Battlestar Galactica.
Just because enthusiasts complain about Vekoma a lot....too much....doesn't mean they're not a force in the industry, and deservedly so.
edited: There was no reason to confuse their with they're. ;~P

If you could go back in time to before you were born, you would hear that same argument. The response is the same today: Most people will never ride a clone, and therefore wouldn't care.
